This is slightly beter now in 1.7, but by no means a fix. We need to rework contact view and the code there to make it live a bit more seamlessly in a tab container. pushing that part to 1.8

Punting this to 2.0 when we do more restructuring of all contact operations and make them operate under tabs (including edit and delete etc)

Probably changing to jquery grids in 2.3.
