I tried to covnvert the giftaid module for joomla as pluging. i managed to convert. But while importing the CustomGroupData.xml i got error
Fatal error: Class 'JPluginHelper' not found in root_directory\administrator\components\com_civicrm\civicrm\CRM\Utils\Hook\Joomla.php on line 49.
so i changed the line 47 if ( defined( '_JEXEC') ) as if ( @defined( '_JEXEC', 1) ) and after importing i revert back the changes inorder to access the giftaid report otherwise it throws an error.
