Description
Using distmaker to build a trunk tarball results in a version string of "4.2" in civicrm-version.php, but this is not recognized as a valid version string.
"Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred. Unknown codebase version." error message appears when visiting civicrm/admin. Changing it to "4.2.0" resolves the error.
