Changing payment from pending to complete increments membership end date by one period incorrectly when renewing

To recreate on demo site:

• find a member
• add a membership with payment and mark as completed
• right click membership and choose "renew"
• check "Record Renewal Payment?"
• mark payment as pending
• save.
• observe membership date is set correctly
• edit payment and mark as complete
• observe membership date is now one period too many

you can change between pending and completed, and each time you do this the period increases by one.
