            Description

            This entails:

            1. Updating the default repository URL based on a pattern, e.g.

            "http://civicrm.org/extdir/ver=

            {version}

            |cms=

            {ufName}

            /"

            2. Implementing a module which accepts those URLs. Note that filters are part of the path – this enables backward/forward compatibility with the existing downloader, which composes URLs by a specific formula (eg $baseUrl + '/' + 'com.example.foo' + '.xml').
