Event Registration with additional participants enabled and including profile with drupal user account required not working

Steps to replicate :
1) Add a new event, include profile and configure it to drupal user account required eg: name and address profile.
2) Enable multiple registration for the event.
3) Visit the event registration form from anonymous user browsing.
4) Select the no. of participants to more than 1 and fill other details on the 1st participant details form and click on continue , the page redirection happens to same page .
