Clicking 'Map' icon on contact summary opens inline address edit form before redirecting to map page

Enable Mapping and Geocoding, add a mappable address to a contact. Clicking the 'Map' icon which now shows next to the address triggers the 'inline edit' form to start opening. Screenshot attached. We need to 'unbind' the open inline edit action from that span or ??
