JS parse error on Add Contacts to Event (advanced search bulk op)

If you select contacts in Advanced Search and click "add contacts to event" you will get a parse error in your console.
It's caused by line 64 of templates/CRM/Contact/Form/NewContact.tpl
Lobo suggested that the

{/if}

on line 54 be moved to the bottom.
In that case the entire tpl would be skipped, so maybe it doesn't need to be included at all on that page?
