registering participants in events

            Description

            When registering a contact for an event, one gets an error message if the "Record Payment" box has been checked when one tries to save.
            This is the error message:

            Sorry but we are not able to provide this at the moment.
            DB Error: constraint violation
            Return to home page.

            Despite this, the contact still appears to be registered. Saving works fine when the "record payment" box has NOT been checked
