Geocode batch job dies silently after processing only a few addresses

The Geocode and Parse Addresses (Daily) job processes a few records and then seems to stop silently. So in order to complete geocoding you have to submit the job time after time after time. These are the parameters:

geocoding=1
parse=1
start=1
end=900
throttle=1
