Greater than and Less Than symbols in MD5 hash get altered when saved

            Description

            When using the Authorize.net payment processor, if the MD5 hash has a greater than (>) or less than (<) symbol, it is saved as the string ">" or "<". Transactions are not processed due to a failure to verify the MD5 hash.
