Your Registration Info default event profile should include First and Last Name

I'd like to re-evaluate the wisdom of using a default event registration profile that excludes first and last name. Since all event participants using the form are created as individual contacts, why would these fields be excluded by default? Some rookie organizations don't understand this, don't know how to edit profiles, and consider this 'email only' on registration a 'bug' when in fact I think it may just be an inappropriate default.
