Search results in breadcrumb not working properly

from any search results screen, the more button at the end of the row of a contact has a number of options. when i use one of those options (i.e. Register for event) i end up at the record of the Contact. At this point, if I want to return to the Search Results that i was working off of, my eyes are drawn to the Search Results link in the breadcrumb. How wonderful, i think. i can return to the list that i was working with.

alas, it does not work. i get sent to a list of all the contacts in the database.

either fix the Search Results link so that it returns to the proper search results or remove the link from the breadcrumb.
