When I require a confirmation of event registrations, the workflow is as follows: 1. Online registration > 2. registration is created, gets status "awaiting approval" > 3. approval by staff and manual change of status to "pending from approval"... > 4. leads to automatic delivery of an email with the link to the final confirmation by the participant.
NOW if I rename the status in the administration options, e.g. to make them more understandable for our German customers, step 4 does not work anymore. There is no e-mail sent, also the radio-button for sending the link notification (default: yes) does not appear when I choose the status. Both work when I return to the original display name. As far as I can see renaming the status should only affect the display name and not the functionality.
