Batch Data Entry silently drops 'batch-valid' entries if no contact_id is associated with them

      Description

On demo site, create a data entry batch and for one of the contacts type the name 'Bachman, Daren'. You'll see the select list open with his name, but do not choose the name, just go to add contribution type, amount and status. Note that the 'edit pencil' changes to a batch-valid 'check-mark' upon selecting the (already selected) status of 'Closed'. But when you Validate & Process the Batch, Daren's contribution is silently dropped.

Note that if you select Status='Pending' Civi will report "Total for amounts entered below does not match the expected batch total' and offers to 'Ignore Mismatch & Process the Batch?' but even though this is better, there is no indication as to which batches are being ignored (check marks still next to all). This is a problem when there are 30+ entries.

Separate issue: if you do 'Find Contributions' and choose the batch name (from first example above that was processed) from the drop down and search, the batch doesn't exist.
