Description
In civicrm.settings.php, the variable CIVCRM_TEMPLATE_COMPILEDIR is defined in a mix of Unix-style and Windows-style slashes; I thought I had a permissions problem after creating a directory for extensions as path .../civicrm/templates_c/extensions and getting 'directory does not exist'. I searched issues here and didn't find a reference to this but did on CiviCRM Community Forum:

The combination of forward-and double-back slashes seems weird, and Windows allows forward slashes now; it works for defining civicrm_root
