Get d6 version ready for release

            Description

            It seems people have been doing PRs against the d7 folder & not the d6. Obviously d6 people should wait until these are done before upgrading to 4.4. At least 2 cause fatals from my experience.

            NB - please don't assign this to me - this is in the category 'doing other people's dishes' rather than d6 support.
