civimail with workflow broken: scheduled date not stored with mailing job

civimail with worklow enabled is currently broken (and appears to have been in 4.3 as well).
you can create a new mailing and walk through the 6 steps, but after approving the mailing, the scheduled mailing list shows the new mailing but without a scheduled date.

it appears that the scheduled date is not getting passed to the mailing_job record, and thus is not picked up by the mailing cron.
