Keep history for relationships, names, postions, etc.

It would be very helpful to be able to keep information about households, individuals, positions and relationships so that one could look for connections or expertise that is no longer active. For example, I want to ask the promotions chair from two years ago what he did for to promote the concert that we ran then. Another example is that I want to get Bill Gates to get to speak for us again and so I want to find someone that is or was a vice president at Microsoft.

For alumni groups, I want to be able to find people after they marry or divorce and change their names, so I want to be able to search and get current and former names as well as when those names were valid.
