hook_civicrm_tokenValues not called

hi

hook_civicrm_tokenValues not called when i creating the Event name badges
i have created some custom date value tokens, those are available on the print PDF letter section
but when i creating the Event name badges, the tokens are available on the drop down list But the token values are not printed
hook_civicrm_tokenValues function is not called when creating the event name badges.
