Future date selection in reports

In CiviCRM there are various possibilities to filter on dates in the past (e.g. previous year, current Year to date, etcetera).

CiviCRM reports are missing functionality to filter on future dates ("Next Week" or "Next Month", etcetera).

(Use case: we have volunteers with a future project start date and we would like to have a report on people who are starting next week)
