CRM_Event_Badge no longer in use?

Since the change in the way badge formats are created/used, it appears that CRM_Event_Badge is no longer in use, however code is still present leading to some confusion (at least on my part).

This includes all the classes that extend it (like CRM_Event_Badge_Logo).

Not sure what the best way to fix this is since removing it will result in fatal errors for people who have implemented custom badge formats and extended that class though of course their new formats no longer work anyway.
