Event registration (front-end): Billing payment block is not being loaded in Chrome

For event with a price set, the "billing-payment-block" div is not loading in Chrome when a fee amount is selected the first time. If you select a different fee radio button, the block appears. Testing the same event in Firefox works correctly.
