Adding CiviContribution Custom Fields on Profile to Contribution Page causes SQL Error

Still affects 4.4.3

Prerequisites:
At least 1 custom contribution field.
A Contribution page (such as a donation page)

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Create a profile
2. Add an individual field to it (such as name)
3. Add a Contribution custom field to it.
4. Save the profile
5. Edit an existing Contribution page (or create one now)
6. In profiles, set the profile you created as the top profile
7. Save the page
8. Navigate to the contribution page
9. Fill in both the individual and contribution fields you added to the page via the profile
10. Click Make Contribution
11. Click Continue if confirm page is enabled

At this point when the Thank You page should appear, a database error happens instead. This is my stack trace:
