Description
See http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,32870.0.html for the bug and a solution. The first issue in Reply #6 is either a bug or a documentation issue, meaning if that's how we want it, let's just update the docs. But it seems quite incongruous with how the rest of the API works.
The second issue in Reply #6 may not be an issue as perhaps other people don't need this parameter.
