Description
On 1.6 demo w/ current DB...
- Go to contribution page id=1 as anonymous (https://demo.civicrm.org/drupal/civicrm/contribute/transact?id=1&reset=1)
- Fill in the form and submit contribution (I did $1)
- Now login and view the new contact record
The contact has been saved and the contribution is recorded properly (and received by PayPal). However, the contact email address is not saved and no email is sent to donor.
NOTE: I initially thought this was a profile-related problem because that contrib page had a profile which contained 1 custom field which was in a disabled state and one organization field (organization name). However, I fixed the setup so that the custom field (Most Important Issue) was enabled, and deleted the Org Name field from the profile (profile is Contributor Info) - and the problem behavior persists...
