Membership Auto Renewal Option Not Available on Page including Pay Later Option

      Description

      It appears that when a Membership Sign Up page is developed to include as pay later option, it is not possible to also have the Auto-Renewal option available for the immediate payment options.

      We have implemented a patch so that even on a page with the Pay Later option, when a user chooses an auto renewing membership type, the check-box related to auto-renew box is displayed (see attachment).

      Now, we are wondering if a patch is something the core team would be interested in. But as we wonder this, we also wonder whether there is a deliberate reason why Civi was built not allow auto renewals if the Pay Later option is chosen is this a bug in the system?
