Changing the number of results dispayed per page for an advanced search breaks the sorting function

This is a regression from the 4.4 series (tested on drupal sandbox and demo)

If you increase or decrease the number of results displayed per page after doing an advanced search you can no longer sort by the column headers.

Refreshing the page doesn't help. If you Edit search criteria and search again the sorting function is available again (and fortunately the number of results per page stays on the new setting).
