Toggle to hide disabled forms in selectors?

As there is a preference not to be able to delete some objects (eg Contribution Pages that have been used in a transaction) as a general UI enhancement how about having a toggle in the selector to show / hide disabled objects?

Users will want different behaviors for different selectors (Contribution Pages vs. Profiles etc.) - and will want the application to "remember" their preference for each selector. Therefore, this should be implemented as a "user-level" preference which is automagically updated when the user toggles the behavior for a particular selector.
