Changing a participants event selection to "- none -" doesn't work

If your priceset isn't required and therefore includes the default "none" option, selecting this when changing a participants selections doesn't save and just reverts to the previously selected option each time. This effects being able to cancel / refund an individuals booking (especially if they are part of a group booking) as you can't change their selection to trigger the refund logic.
