Payment status not updating in Events - Find Participants result list

When testing my event registration form (test mode), I used pay later. Then using Events - Find Participants (with Participant is a Test), I can edit the Participant just registered, and record payment. But returning to the Find Participants result list (civicrm/event/search) the status remains: "Pending from pay later (test)". But if I view the participant record (civicrm/contact/view/participant) it appears as Completed at the bottom of the page. In the upper section of the page it still appears as "Pending from pay later (test)".
