Import of contributions including custom fields fails

WHen using a csv file for batch importing of contributions, the import will fail if a custom field is included in the import.
If you mark the custom columns "do not import" the import will run successfully.

I reproduced this on the joomla demo site.

The file is the one attached. A field mapping that fails is:
receive date, first name, last name, check number, note, total amount, do not import, contribution type, do not import, currency, contact id.
Reason for failing:I

I saved two field mappings on the demo, elinfail, elingood.
