On first try, Contacts/Manage Groups fails with a syntax error.

            Description

            When I open a new session of CiviCRM and I click Contacts/Manage Groups, I get an error message:

            Sorry but we are not able to provide this at the moment.
            DB Error: syntax error

            Return to home page.

            When I return to home page, go back in to CiviCRM and click Contacts/Manage Groups, it brings up my groups just fine so that I can manage them.
