Description
Steps to recreate:
1. Create a profile navigating to Administer > Customize Data and Screens > Profiles
2. Add Organization Fields as
– Select 1 = 'Team' Select2 = 'Organization Name'
– Select 1 = 'Contact' Select2 = 'Email' Select3 = 'Primary'
3. Use this profile as On Behalf on Contribution Page. And Donate as On Behalf Organization(Select new organization).
The contact from on behalf profile is created as Organization, but one of the field in the profile is used as Contact Sub Type. So the new contact should have been of Contact Sub type = Team, which seems a bug.
This used work for 4.4.x until there were changes against CRM-13981 which stopped working.
