Description
If an email contains an image or a table then Civi repeatedly (upon each auto-save cycle) shows the popup "Sorry an error occurred and your information was not saved".
Enabling permission "CiviCRM: skip IDS check" resolves the problem.
Required action:
1. There seems to be a serious problem with the IDS threshold. See also CRM-12197.
2. I think that the lack of a meaningful IDS error message is a big problem and has probably wasted a great deal of time for many users. An IDS failure should create a popup that says "Operation blocked by IDS. You can bypass this security check by enabling the 'CiviCRM: skip IDS check' permission'".
Note that testing for this bug with images will be complicated due to the currently open bug CRM-16253. See the referenced forum thread in that CRM for a workaround for that issue.
