"Daily" jobs run by cron slip forward each day, until eventually missed

A "Daily" job always runs x minutes later each day, where x is the time between cron jobs. Eventually a daily job will be missed.

For some jobs this won't matter, but for offline recurring payments & similar it would matter as a day's work would be missed.
