UK Counties List is Out of Date

The list of UK Counties is out of date, there have been a number of changes in the naming and number of counties in the United Kingdom.

See attached list, however since 1996 the county has no longer been an official part of addressing in the United Kingdom however many systems and people still include this. There is, unfortunately, no official source for 'Postal Counties' as these no longer exists - this list is, therefore, based on the 1996 list with the addition of the Welsh Unitary Authorities. It may be easier for the sake of forward thinking, and demographics (a key use of the county field) to align these with the ISO3166-2:GB SubDivisions for the UK, most recently updated in 2014.

This would remove the ambiguity inherent in compiling this data from multiple sources. It may be advantageous to remove the 'county' field from UK addresses as it's no longer required and does sometimes cause issues.
