CiviMember - Problems with Assigning Relationship Type to a Membership Type

Trying to use the Relationship Type property in Membership Type to extend membership to contacts who are "Parent of" the direct member and found these two problems.

1. If you select "Parent of" in add/edit Membership Type and then save - when you reload the form the displayed Relationship Type is "Child of" (i.e. it doesn't retain the "direction" of the relationship type).
