Case 0: It's possible to run batch update for multiple contact types
a/ Go to participant list for any event
b/ Select individual and household or organisation
c/ Run "Batch update participants via profile"
d/ Select appropriate profile (Participant profile on DGG sandbox)
You will get regular Batch update screen with contacts of mixed types. Not sure what the expected outcome
would be here, but assuming the same behaviour as in "Batch update via profile" in main CiviCRM search screen. Instead of proceeding to batch update screen, it stays on search screen displaying the message: "Batch update requires that all selected contacts be the same type (e.g. all Individuals OR all Organizations...). Please modify your selected contacts and try again."
Case 1: Batch update screen doesn't have fields pre-filled
a/ Go to participant list for any event
b/ Select a few individual contacts
c/ Run "Batch update participants via profile"
d/ Select appropriate profile (Participant profile on DGG sandbox)
On the batch update screen, all the inputs are empty - expected outcome is to have current values there.
Case 2: Batch update screen doesn't save modifications
a/ Go to participant list for any event
b/ Select a few individual contacts
c/ Run "Batch update participants via profile"
d/ Select appropriate profile (Participant profile on DGG sandbox)
e/ Change the information for any or all the contacts
f/ Click save
After returning to participants list screen (without any error message), you can see that contacts remained unchanged.
