Description
On upgrading Civi to 4.6.4 (from 4.4.15
) - there were many problems with the upgrade relating to duplicate case names.
Before the upgrade civi 4.4 allowed the creation of duplicate case names - which is not the case at some point in the upgrade. This resulted in needing to rename the confilicting cases so that there was no conflict.
Am raising the issue to ask if there should be a plan to take this into consideration - i'.e.) should duplicate case type names be automatically chaned (xxx_1 xxx_2) during the process, or should there be a fix in 4.4.latest (LTS) to address the issue of duplicate names for Case Types?
