state/country custom fields don't render labels in view mode

to reproduce:

• create a custom field for state and/or country multi-select
• add the fields to a profile
• use the profile in create/edit mode and select values for each field
• save the profile. in profile view, the IDs of the selections are displayed instead of the labels. the values are saved correctly – this is a display-only issue
