import fails, but message says rows were imported successfully.

My import was dying because of insufficient time allocation. However, the summary step 4 reported that all of the rows in the csv file were imported. When I did a contact search on all records, only about a third of the records were imported.

Also, I had specified that the imported records be added to a group and none of these were added to the existing group. There was no message saying that the group add had taken place...so that's probably good. But then again it didn't say that the group add had failed.

This happened on a clean install of 1.7.alpha.8948 running php5 on mysql 4.1 and Drupal 5.1.
