Incorrect dates on refunded contribution transactions

I added a patch to be able to see the financial transactions against a contribution (https://github.com/civicrm/civicrm-core/pull/7296 ) and noticed that the date on the financial transaction for refunds does NOT match the date entered on the form.

See images attached for 4.6 & 4.7 - in both cases you can see I entered a refund date.

NB 4.7 shows the slight wierdness of the payment being set to pending & then completed. I think it looks fairly odd - and the transaction id is on the wrong one - but I would need to compare with 4.6 paypal standard or similar as the flow in 4.7 is always create-pending then complete
