Searching on currency custom field by range doesn't work

      Description

      I have created a custom field of type money choosing 'is searchable' and 'search by range'. The field is against an individual.

      If I search by this field from advanced search the criteria does not appear in the qill and all contacts in the database are returned.

      I hit this on 4.6 & master
