find contributions: unable to sort when soft credits included

perform a contributions search either through find contributions or advanced search > display as contributions. select one of the options to display soft credits (the issue reproduces with any of the three soft credit options).

click any of the column headers to sort > it appears like it's doing work, but it does not actually sort. note that if you search contributions only, the search works correctly.
