            Description

            Contribution type has been gone for a while but we still have some references.

            I opened a PR to remove some https://github.com/civicrm/civicrm-core/pull/7836 - the PR might be going to be closed if it can't be merged as is (since I don't want to increase the scope of my engagement in this to encompass altering existing sites & was only concerned about a step forwards).

            Opening this ticket to track progress on it.
