Regression: Activities in contacts' Activity tabs default to ascending order

On a contact's Activity tab, the default sort order has always been in descending date order, so the most recent activity is shown at the top. Now that has changed (maybe in the last few releases) to default to ascending date order, so that the oldest activity is shown first.

This is easy to change manually each time, by clicking on the "Date" column header, but it is still a regression that should be fixed.

A related issue is that entries in the Subject column are no longer word wrapped, so long Subject entries cause the activity listings to extend off the right hand side of the page, bringing up an inconvenient scroll bar at the bottom of the page.

I have repeated both these regressions on the demo site.
