Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in CRM_Extension_Browser->_discoverRemote()

I hope I'm putting this in the right place...

I saw this issue mentioned earlier but didn't chime in and now I see it's closed. I am running CiviCRM 4.7.6 on Drupal 7.43. This is the usual shared LAMP hosting.

Whenever logging out and then logging back in this error appears:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in CRM_Extension_Browser->_discoverRemote() (line 200 of /home/allofus/www/www/sites/all/modules/civicrm/CRM/Extension/Browser.php).

This is using an administrator account if that makes any difference. The same thing happens with Chrome or Firefox.
