CC Contributions with Financial Types Associated with VAT Creates Extraneous Financial Transaction

What works as expected:

1. Cash/check contributions with financial types associated with a VAT financial account
2. Initial installment of a recurring CC contribution with a financial type associated with a VAT financial account

What doesn't work as expected:
An extraneous financial transaction record is created in civicrm_financial_trxn when

1. One-time CC contributions with financial types associated with a VAT financial account
2. Subsequent installments of a recurring contribution with a financial type associated with a VAT financial account

This is not payment processor specific as I was able to reproduce using both iATS and Authorize.net.

To reproduce:

1. Create a sales tax financial account and associate it with a financial type
2. Create a one time CC contribtuion using the financial type created in step 1 above
3. Create a recurring CC contribtuion using the financial type created in step 1 above
4. Compare resulting records in database (see attached screen shots for examples)
