No Civi Confirmation Email After Using Paypal

      Description

      I apologize in advance, as this question seems to have been asked many times on StackExchange, but the answer is still not clear after looking at different responses, and the people at CiviHosting think I have set everything up correctly and that there may be a bug—they recommended I contact you.
      I am using Civi 4.7.7 and Wordpress. I am using PayPal Pro for both credit cards and PayPal, on my own website. When a client uses credit card, there is no problem, and he also receives a Civi Contribution Confirmation Email. However, when PayPal is used, a payment receipt email is generated through PayPal, but there is NO Civi confirmation emailed to the new member or admin, and on the backend of Civi it says the status of the membership transaction is pending (incomplete transaction).

      Initially I thought the problem was occurring because The PayPal IPN wasn't entered, however now it is pointing to the the homepage of my website and still the problem remains.

      Is this a bug? Seems like many people are complaining about this same problem on StackExchange and there isn't a clear solution.
